With version 2.0 the new edition of the Biometric Software Suite is available:
The Biometric Software Suite Professional.
This edition covers not only a new improved synchronized import of data from Tobii Studio and the biometric devices but also the analysis of the data up to calculating metrics from the conditions of an experiment. So biometric signal analysis can now be done in one program package from start to end.
The new features are
Frequency Filter
Based on digital Butterworth filters, this operation is used to reduce noise (lowpass filter) or anhance signal contrasts (highpass filter)
Smoothing Filter
Windowed sliding average filters for general purpose noise reduction in signals
Make Trials
Cut your signal based on tags into relevant parts (trials) for further analysis. Tags can be fixed events like picture presentation in Tobii Studio as well as gaze entries of areas of interest detected in Tobii Studio.
Trial Average
Signal averaging over trials inside one dataset as well as over multiple datatsets
GSR
Analysis and tagging of galvanic skin response. This operation detects the typical skin response curves and calculates data like rise time and amplitude.
GSR Metrics
Based on the results of the GSR operation and the trials created from experiment conditions statistical values are calculated for the trial conditions.
Heart Rate
Heart rate may be extracted from ECG or pulse channels by this operation
Heart Rate Metric
Based on the results of the heart rate operation and the trials created from experiment conditions statistical values are calculated for the trial conditions.
Sliding FFT
A windowed FFT extracts bands from EEG channels for frequency analysis of EEG signals
EEG Metrics
Based on the results of the sliding FFT operation and the trials created from experiment conditions statistical values are calculated for the trial conditions.
